u2u is passionate about redeveloping devastated communities. Currently, we are partnering with other non-profits on the Island of La Gonave, Haiti. We helped build the Weslyan guest house which hosts international volunteers and visiting medical and philanthropic teams. We helped build a 45 bed hospital, fully equipped and functioning, which now has a nursing school. We own a devastated property (due to the earthquake on the slum of the island) our dream is to transform this into a Community/Rescue Centre so that we can host feeding programs, trade school projects and philanthropic teams. Will you help us reach our goal? We are a registered 501c3 charity and all bi-vocational. 100% of all donations go towards our projects and directly impacts the people of Haiti. We are a group of friends with a vision and passion to make a difference on this island. Overseeing an orphanage of 18 children, a home/hospice for the elderly homeless, building water catchment and latrines to eradicate cholera. Supplying school equipment to micro-schools and Compassion Schools. Micro-enterprise and child sponsorship. Changing lives one person at a time.
